Who we are
Save Our Date is a trading name of Laramattix Ltd, registered in Scotland (company number SC884319), with its registered office at Office 2/3, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BP, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@saveourdate.app.
These terms apply when you buy a page from us. You need to be 18 or over to buy one.
What you buy
One web page at the address you choose, showing the save the date you designed, with its opening and the buttons that add your date to a calendar. You pay once, at the price shown before checkout. There's no subscription and no charge per guest.
The page goes live as soon as your payment completes. You can edit it after that, as often as you like, until it comes down.
Paying
Payment is taken by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for the sale. It charges any VAT or sales tax that applies where you live, issues your receipt and handles any dispute about the payment, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. The price you see before checkout is the price you pay.
Your right to cancel
Your page is digital content that we supply straight away, at your request. Before you pay, you tick a box to agree to that and to accept that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once the page is live.
That doesn't affect your rights if something is wrong with the page. If it doesn't work or isn't as described, tell us and we'll fix it. If we can't fix it within a reasonable time, we'll refund you.
How long it stays up
Save the dates are meant to be made and sent as soon as possible. Your date can be up to 5 years ahead, but how long your page stays up isn't linked to the date you choose. We guarantee it will stay online for 6 months from the day you buy it. After that, we'll do our best to keep it up until your date, and we delete it within 30 days after the date.
We may take the site offline for short periods to maintain it, and we can't promise the page will be available at any particular moment.
Your address
Choose your address carefully: it can't be changed once the page is live. If you notice a mistake before you've sent the link, email us and we'll try to help. Some addresses are reserved, and we may remove a page whose address is offensive or pretends to be someone else.
Your edit link
There are no accounts. Anyone with your private edit link can change or delete your page, so keep it to yourself. If it has been shared by mistake, use Sign out other edit links on your edit page and we'll email you a new one. We aren't responsible for changes made by someone you gave the link to.
What you put on your page
You're responsible for your page. Only use names you have the right to use, and don't use the page to pretend to be someone else, to mislead people, to ask for money or passwords, or for anything unlawful or offensive. If a page breaks these rules, we may remove it without notice and without a refund.
Taking your page down
You can delete your page at any time from your edit page. It goes at once, for everyone, and can't be brought back. Deleting it doesn't entitle you to a refund.
If we close the service
If we ever stop running the service, we'll email you at least 60 days before your page comes down. If that happens within 6 months of your purchase, we'll refund part of what you paid, in proportion to the part of those 6 months that's left. After that, no refund is due.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Otherwise, our total liability to you for anything to do with your page is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, and because the page is for your personal use, we aren't liable for any business losses.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it last changed. A change won't take away anything you've already paid for, including the time we guarantee your page stays up.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If something goes wrong, please email us first and we'll try to put it right. If we can't, the courts of Scotland can decide the matter. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep any right the law of your home country gives you to bring a claim in your own courts.
